Circadian Seekers and Jove Observatories Appear

With Rhea, Circadian Seekers - autonomous Jove drones that warp around at random and aggress capsuleers who linger near them - began appearing in every known-space system. Around the same time, large cloaked structures (revealed in Tiamat as Jove Observatories) were placed in nearly every system, in many cases visible only on directional scan until they uncloaked.

This was the first concrete evidence in-game that the Jove Empire as players had known it had collapsed and that something - eventually revealed as the Drifters and then the Triglavian Collective - was active in the Jovian void. The Seeker / Observatory layer is the narrative substrate of every NPC arc that followed: Drifters (2015), Triglavians (2017), Invasion (2019), Pochven (2020).

If you see a Circadian Seeker drift past your hauler or notice a Jove Observatory beacon in your home system's overview, that infrastructure has been there since late 2014 and is the breadcrumb trail of the entire post-2014 storyline.
