Capsuleer Day XXII (Nexus Reckoning) ran 15 April - 15 May 2025 - the earliest start to date - built around the Drifter / Sleeper conflict with Labyrinth Complex and Nexus Point sites, the "Wrath of Tyrannos" climax, and a five-faction allied coalition.

Capsuleer Day XXII - Nexus Reckoning (2025)

15 April 2025 to 15 May 2025. The twenty-second Capsuleer Day edition, codenamed Nexus Reckoning, marked two notable shifts: the earliest start date in the formal-branding era (15 April rather than the usual end-April / early-May), and the most explicit lore tie-in any Capsuleer Day had attempted - a full-faction-coalition narrative against the Drifters.

The in-fiction setup: five factions - Amarr, Caldari, Minmatar, EDENCOM, and the Triglavian Collective - were embedded deep in Drifter wormhole systems, fighting a coordinated push against the Drifters' staging infrastructure. Capsuleers were recruited to support the coalition push across known space, Pochven, and wormhole space. That five-faction list is itself remarkable: the Amarr/Caldari/Gallente/Minmatar quadrant has worked with EDENCOM and the Triglavians as opposed sides since the Invasion arc, and seeing all of them aligned against a common enemy was a deliberate "the lore is moving" beat from CCP.

The site arc was multi-tiered:

  • Reckoning: Sleeper Forge / Foundry - combat sites with two rooms and escalating spawns.
  • Reckoning: Sleeper Reserve / Drifter Stockpile - hacking sites requiring probe scanners and Data Analyzer modules.
  • Reckoning: Labyrinth Complex - a sprawling gauntlet with shifting layouts, multiple acceleration-gate destinations, a roaming Drifter battleship, and a mix of combat and non-combat challenges.
  • Reckoning: Nexus Point - accessed by completing the Labyrinth Complex; pushes even Tech II battlecruisers to their limits.
  • Wrath of Tyrannos - a 1,750-point Agency-track climactic encounter, with the largest reward crate in the event.

Special filament access opened up wormhole systems including the Azdaja Redoubt for limited-time event content. Daily-login Skill Points scaled from 130,000 to 525,000 depending on clone state and day-count, with the big Omega unlock landing on 6 May 2025 - the real-world EVE launch anniversary date, used as a marketing peg even when the event window started two weeks earlier. Reward themes leaned into Drifter aesthetics: new Drifter-themed SKINs, SKINR design components, mutaplasmids, and rotation of previously-issued Capsuleer Day SoCT ships.

By 2025 "Capsuleer Day" was no longer constrained to the May 6 anniversary date itself - month-long window, multi-tier site arc, faction-coalition lore framing, climactic Tyrannos encounter, and the earliest start date in the formal-branding era.
