EVE Online turned twelve on 6 May 2015. CCP marked it with a quiet redeem-system drop - a pair of Genolution Core Augmentation implants (CA-3 and CA-4) plus Mordu's Legion-branded jackets - and no formal multi-week event arc, in keeping with the looser pre-2018 anniversary style.

Capsuleer Day 2015 - twelfth anniversary

On 6 May 2015 EVE Online turned twelve, and CCP did exactly what they had done for most of the years prior: pushed a small pile of commemorative items into every active account's redemption queue and called it a day. There was no Operation: Anything, no themed combat sites, no Roman-numeral branding - just the Capsuleer Day gift drop in the character-selection redeeming system.

The 2015 gift was unusually pragmatic. Every active account received a Genolution Core Augmentation CA-3 and CA-4 implant pair, slotting neatly above the previously-released CA-1 and CA-2. These are slot-7/slot-8 hardwirings that grant CPU, powergrid, and capacitor bonuses with stacking benefits when the full CA-1 through CA-4 set is plugged. For mid-grade pilots in 2015 - the year of the Tiamat / Mosaic / Carnyx / Aegis release cadence - the CA-3/CA-4 drop was a real fitting upgrade, not just a vanity gift.

Alongside the implants the 2015 drop included a Men's 'Marshal' Jacket and Women's 'Gunner' Jacket, both branded for Mordu's Legion. The character-customisation jackets were avatar-only items but fit the broader 2015 visual identity push around faction wearables.

Capsuleer Day 2015 is the last truly low-key anniversary before CCP began ramping up the format: 2016 added a SKIN, 2017 added launchers and fireworks, and 2018 reset the entire template with the formally-branded Capsuleer Day XV edition. As such it's worth marking as part of the historical arc, even though the event itself was a single-day item drop with nothing else attached.
